Power Plus Sound & Lighting of San Diego, CA. provides Audio for the San Diego Symphony summer concert series. The San Diego Symphony is so pleased with the performance of WorxAudio Technologies new TrueLine TLV8 Line Array, the system is being utilized every Friday and Saturday night for their 2003 Summer Concert Series. 

The WorxAudio loudspeaker system consists of four, ultra-compact TL V8 line array cabinets centered above the orchestra, ten MaxSeries 3.5As split between the left and right front of house, eight WaveSeries 6As for front fill, two MaxSeries 2.5Ms for side front fill and six WaveSeries 218S sub bass. The entire system was powered by Crown's MacroTech VZ Series of amplifiers which included several 5002VZs.
 
According to David Leyton, Audio Engineer for the San Diego Symphony, "by all accounts the TrueLine TLV8 array is a great product.  We had no problems getting the vocals on top of everything in the mix. Additionally, the TLV8 is very efficient and produces an extremely high SPL for it's size. The coverage is unlike anything we've used before. With just four boxes we could cover the entire venue - 250' x 180' with clear full range sound. It really does cover 140° horizontally and that meant we needed our front fills a lot less than before.  Oh, did I mention we're outside? This is a great box!"
